Autism Speaks to Young Professionals
Event Branding & Promotion
The Intern team at Iris Chicago was approached by Autism Speaks to Young Professionals to promote Illuminate, a masquerade gala that raises funds and advocates for people on the spectrum in the Chicago community. We were challenged to revamp this event’s branding while still using the original logo and guidelines. With a budget of 0 dollars we took to social media and curated content to attract new event guests. In addition we reached out to Chicago shops and influencers to help us share our message to a larger audience.

Creative concept: Unveil the blue
“With this masquerade, we will celebrate the true ingenuity of each person behind the mask. People on the spectrum may wear a mask of neurodiversity, but at “Illuminate” we celebrate their blue mask as the masterpiece that it is.
We will unveil the blue light in our visuals in an eye-catching, sophisticated way to show every attendee the beauty behind “Light It Up Blue.”

Event filter
We were able to create a face detecting Snapchat filter that guest can use at the event utilizing Lens Studio. Try it out for yourself: Open Snapchat scan this code and the filter will pop up!
website makeover
In addition to promoting the event, we also extended our services and helped AS2YP Chicago with their brand perception. We did this by reinventing the language used on their website and streamlining all visuals.
